Where Do Resellers Generally Source Their Inventory?
Some resellers start by selling items from their own closets while others source their inventory from a variety of places, including thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales, wholesale distributors, and online marketplaces. It is essential for resellers to research and find the best sources for their specific niche to ensure they are getting high-quality items at a competitive price. However, by starting with things you already have, it simplifies the research process since you already know the basics of the item. Souring can also be a daunting task if you don’t know what to focus on, by focusing on items you already own you can skip this decision for the time being.

Some of the best reselling sites in 2024 include eBay, Amazon, Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop. These platforms offer a wide range of categories and attract a large customer base, making it easier for resellers to reach potential buyers.
